October 6
Today
we had church lead by Dallen and Jessica. After a wonderful service, we all
went to do whatever work we needed to get done whether it be metaphysical or
artwork. I am currently lying out in the sun hiding from the wind typing about
my last few adventures. It turned out to be a much warmer day than the last few
chilly days we have had, and for that I am extremely grateful.
I worked on some
projects for a few hours and then decided it was time to adventure so I ran
down to the harbor and explored a cave which I had noticed on a previous run.
It was an awesome cave that opened out into the water. I even managed to climb
ontop of it although getting back down was much harder than anticipated. Regardless,
it was well worth the struggles. After running a little more, I went on the
usual Devon beach adventures, which I do in California. "The usual" consists of walking
along the beach until you cannot walk anymore whether it be due to time or rock
structures. This was my time to push myself and be alone with my
thoughts. I even pushed myself through a thorn bush of doom, which I would not recommend,
but it was better than going near the runoff sewage area. After about two and a
half hours of adventure it was time to eat dinner at Casa di Roma with the
group. I had chicken, pistachio ice cream and a cappuccino. Everything was delicious.
After dinner Andrew, Austin, Dallen and I walked to the market to get some food
for lunch tomorrow and then we walked back up the street to the hotel. Another
successful day in Samos.
