October 20 WW2 museum

October 20
Today Molly and I went on a run around town and the harbor to the lighthouse. Afterward we had breakfast and we all went to a World War 2 museum nearby. There we learned about the history of Chania during that time and saw an old building that had survived the bombing by Hitler. We also drew many sketches in our notebooks. The rest of the day was free to catch up on things so Thanda and I went to do laundry. After seeing that two laundry mats were closed as it was a Sunday, we almost gave up hope. Despite all doubts we kept walking and found one that was open and it only cost 4.5 euros.
After an hour or so of laundry we headed back and Thanda and I did readings that night. Then everyone left on individual dinners. A group of seven of us went to Gallini's which is this great place right along the harbor. They gave us free appetizers, water, dessert, and the meal was 20% off! It was wonderful and I will definitely recommend the restaurant to future abroads.
