October 16: Knossos

October 16
Today we had a new member join us! Andrew’s girl friend, Kate, has been studying abroad in Jordan, so on her break she came to visit. She fits right in with our group and has great information to share with us about Jordan.
Today we all went to Knossos where we got a tour from a lady named Ereene. It was a great tour and we learned a lot from her. After, we went to the museum, which held most of the artifacts, which were excavated from Knossos and the island of Crete as a whole. I drew an octopus, which I had found on a pot because it reminded me of our dive the other day.
I am now relaxing in the hotel room. Tonight we are going to have Wednesday nigh readings followed by dinner where Casey’s parents are joining us to celebrate his birthday.
