Priene

September 13

         Today we walked up to Priene which was the site I researched. I presented facts about Priene to the group, and shortly after we had a lesson on how to paint by Dan. It was very informative, and I did my first detailed painting. I painted columns which were located next to the temple of Athena. About half of us went down the site to get some lunch. I had a pomegranate, orange, and some lunch meat. At four we headed back to the hotel and jumped in the pool. We played keep away; guys versus girls.

         At 5:30 Izette, our bus driver, took us into town where we had dinner and went grocery shopping for our lunches for the next 6 days. When we got back Izette presented us with organic grapes which were so yummy, and now I am back in our toasty room, with the cute kitty cat who we named sqeaker, and blogging about my day. Tomorrow I will have much more exciting things to talk about J
