Happy Halloween!

October 31 Halloween
I started Halloween with a run along the ocean side followed by a boat trip to the little island with a castle. During the boat trip and castle time we saw people filming. It turns out that the group was from channel 5 news and they were interviewing the Vice President of tourism in Greece. They told us to watch at 9:30 to see their footage. The castle on the island was really awesome as well. It was used until two years ago. For what it was used, we do not know, but it would be an amazing place to hold a special event such as a party or wedding.
We went back to the hotel to work on art and prepare for Halloween. We were split up into teams of 4 and had to come up with a costume. One group dressed up as ninjas, while another dressed up as Goldie locks and the three little bears. Casey (boy) was Goldie locks which was hilarious. We also had the four blind mice and the group I was in played with words. We had previously gone to a town called Menolates, which we ended up, calling men with lattes, so the three girls dressed up as men and Austin dressed up as a latte. Our creativity won us the costume contest and Noelia won the greatest transformation award as she pulled off being a man very well. We all had such a great time at dinner followed by a hilarious scavenger hunt around the entire city. We had to do anything from finding two men named George to figuring out the name of the newscaster from channel 5. It was hilarious and my group ended up tying for first place! Also, we watched channel 5 to see if we made it on the news, but they cut out every part we were in. It was still cool to be there and see the same footage. It was a wonderful day.
